Getting to Know National Delivery Champions Association (NDCA), Together We Grow

​The association represents freelancers whose main source of income are from food delivery or package delivery, regardless of the mode of transport.​


A) NDCA-​U Care Education Grant 2022​​


NDCA - U Care Education Grant*  opens for application this year! This initiative aims to provide assistance and encourage  school-going children of NDCA members. ​

Application period: 1 April (Friday) to 29 April (Friday) 2022

2)     Upon completion of the form, please email NDCA at ndca@ntuc.org.sg  with full supporting documents.

Step 3: After application and submission of supporting documents

​1)     Successful applicants will be notified in writting and details of the Grant Ceremony will be furnished at a later date.

​​​B) Short-Term Accident Relief Fund

NDCA Short-Term Accident Relief Fund provides a one-time $50* FairPrice Voucher to NDCA members to help ease their financial burden as a result of injuries sustained in the course of freelance delivery work. 

The applicant will be informed of the outcome of his/her application through email upon submission of all required supporting documents. The decision made by NDCA on the outcome of the application shall be final.

Eligible members can apply for the assistance if they fulfil all the following criteria: -

  • Must be a NTUC union member of NDCA with 1 month membership as of 30 November 2020*
  • Have at least 3 months of continuous union membership
  • Must be an active food/parcel delivery worker

C) Covid-19 (C-19) Temporary Relief Scheme (11 Oct 2021 - 31 Mar 2022) 

Application closes on 15 April (Friday) 2022

NDCA members who had tested COVID-19 positive or ART positive during the period from 11 Oct 2021 - 31 Mar 2022, both dates inclusive, and who fulfill the eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for this one-off relief quantum. Note that this is a once-off disbursement per Eligible Member. 

If you are current an NTUC member and a freelance / self-employed food or parcel delivery rider or driver, you can convert your membership to NDCA by completing the form Membership Conversion Form_NDCA.pdf ​. Your membership tenure, linkpoints, and rebates would not be affected.

  • If you are looking for some tips & advice to pass the Mandatory Theory Test (MTT), you are at the right place. We offer theory workshop for Food Delivery Rider at NO COSTS! ​

Our workshop dates:

  • 29 March (Tue) 2.30pm - 5.30pm - English (NTUC Centre, One Marina Boulevard)
  • 14 April (Thu), 2.30pm - 5.30pm - English (NTUC Centre, One Marina Boulevard)
  • 27 April (Wed), 2.30pm - 5.30pm - Mandarin (Online, Zoom)

*Note: Workshop does not include Mandatory Theory Test.

The principal objectives held by our association are:

  • To be a collective and representative voice for members to the relevant authorities and agencies on issues that impact income and work terms. 
  • To raise the state of work safety and adequate vocational insurance coverage.

  • Vocational insurance coverage e.g: in an event of loss of income. 
  • Support and guidance to complete the upcoming mandatory online theory test for power-assisted bicycles and e-scooters. 
  • Training and programmes to expand work prospects. 
  • Creating a stronger bond within the community via networking and events.
